Welcome to Laufeys Ve
- a sacred space for transformation
In the norse mythology, Laufey is the mother of Loki. Loki is often said to be a trickster and the god of mischeif and deception, but he is also the personification of creativity and transformation and without him the gods would be stagnant.
Laufey translates to “leafy” or “island of leaves” which refers to the old trees in the wild woods. She also go by the name Nál, which translates to “needle” and may refer to the needles of pine trees - and to tattoo needles.
In old norse, the word “ve” means “sacred space” and Laufeys Ve is a sacred space for nurturing creativity and transformation.
In this sacred space I offer embodied rituals anchored in the subconscious and in personal Nordic dotwork tattoos.

I always design directly on the body from intention and intuition in a co-creation with the customer, ensuring each tattoo is a unique, co-created piece of art.
I work with both machine tattoos and handpoke tattoos,
In addition to my tattoo artistry, I am a certified sexologist, tantric sexologist, embodiment coach, and breathwork facilitator.
I am trained in brain, body, and breath coaching as well as body therapy, energy healing and NLP.
I have a background in scientific research and hold a PhD i physics. I am also a partner, a mother of three, and the vocalist of a death metal band.
